In this Privacy Statement we will inform you of how we process and use personal data.

CORAL ESTATE SERVICES, of which CORAL ESTATE RENTALS is a part, respects the privacy of all customers and users of the website www.coralestaterentals.com. We ensure that the personal data that you provide to us are treated confidentially. We will not sell your personal data to third parties and/or make them available unless we have signed a processing agreement with such a party. This Privacy Statement is exclusively applicable to the services of CORAL ESTATE SERVICES. Please be aware of the fact that CORAL ESTATE SERVICES is not responsible for the privacy policy of any other organizations stated on the website of CORAL ESTATE SERVICES.

When you want to subscribe to our newsletter, have filled out a contact form or have made a reservation, you will be asked to enter your personal data.

CORAL ESTATE SERVICES does not process any special and/or sensitive personal data about visitors or customers, unless this is laid down by law, you have actively provided these data to us or you have given us your express consent to do so.

CORAL ESTATE SERVICES does not intend to collect data on website visitors that are under 16 unless with the consent of their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check if a visitor is under or over 16. Therefore, we advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent that any data about their children is collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact us through info@coralestaterentals.com; we will delete this information

FOR WHICH PURPOSE AND BASED ON WHICH LAWFUL BASIS DO WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA?
We may process personal data about you because you make use of the services of CORAL ESTATE SERVICES and/or because you provide such data to CORAL ESTATE SERVICES yourself. The purposes for data processing with the related lawful bases (legitimate interests) are:

HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We will not retain your personal data any longer than they are needed for the purposes that we have described above. In order to be eligible for a repeater discount, we will retain your basic data until you ask us to delete them. 

WITH WHOM DOES CORAL ESTATE SERVICES SHARE THE PERSONAL DATA? 
Other parties may receive your data from us. These parties will treat your data carefully and they will only receive data that are necessary to perform their services. These parties will not your data for their own purposes. We may for example, pass on your data to our marketing communication adviser, website builder and hosting company that ensure that the online technical aspects of our services and website are functioning properly. These parties are data processors within the meaning of the relevant legislation.

The personal data are stored in our booking system via the Rental Administration servers (‘Verhuuradministratie’). Online newsletters are drawn up in Mailchimp, emails to customers in Outlook, our online chat tool via Tawk.to and invoices in Afas. 

ACCESS TO, CHANGE OR DELETE DATA
You have the right to access and correct your personal data processed by CORAL ESTATE SERVICES and to have them deleted. If you have subscribed to our newsletter and you do not want to receive any mailing from us in the future, you may unsubscribe at any time through the link at the bottom of the mailing. Once you have filled out a contact form, made a reservation for a villa or car, or made any other request for any of our products and/or services, your personal data are known to us. You can send a request to access, correct or delete your data to info@coralestaterentals.com.

CORAL ESTATE SERVICES will respond to your request as soon as possible but always within four weeks after your request.

WITHDRAW YOUR CONSENT, OBJECT, DATA PORTABILITY
You have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or to object to processing your personal data by CORAL ESTATE SERVICES and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can ask us to send the personal data that we have about you (in the form of a computer file) to another organization stated by you.

LODGE A COMPLAINT
CORAL ESTATE SERVICES points out to you that you may lodge a complaint with the national regulatory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Dutch DPA) if you are of the opinion that CORAL ESTATE SERVICES does not meet the privacy legislation as intended in the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).

They make sure that the site works properly and they remember your preferences for example. The website only uses the cookies to ensure that the date of your selection with the Search & Book function is retained. This also enables us to optimize the website. SOCIAL MEDIA BUTTONS
The website www.coralestaterentalsincludes social media buttons to be able to promote webpage(s) (‘like’) or to share them on social networks such as Facebook and Instagram. These buttons make use of pieces of code coming directly from Facebook and Instagram. The cookies are posted by means of this code. This is out of our control. Please read the privacy statements of Facebook and Instagram respectively (which change regularly) to learn what they do with the (personal) data that they process through these cookies. The information they collect, is anonymized as much as possible. The information is transmitted to and stored by social media accounts on servers in the United States. The social media accounts state that they will adhere to the ‘Privacy Shield principles’ and that they are members of the Privacy Shield program of the American Department of Commerce. This means that there is a suitable level of protection for processing any personal data. We take the protection of your data very seriously and we take sufficient and fitting measures to prevent abuse, loss, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized alteration. The website www.coralestaterentals.com makes use of a reliable SSL Certificate to secure that your personal data do not fall into the wrong hands. This is clear from ‘https’ and the padlock icon in the address bar.

Furthermore, we never make use of any unknown and/or publicly accessible Wi-Fi.
